My Sweet One

Last week on our move from Fort Campbell, KY to Austin, we spent our first night in a Comfort Suites Hotel about 50 miles south of Memphis. Sophia was pretty sleepy in the morning. It was so calming to watch her sleep. She’s an amazing, precious child.

New Home at the Riata

We arrived in Austin last Thursday and moved into our new apartment home at the Riata. It’s a beautiful resort-living development full of amenities and services. I took a little walk today to capture these photos.

Each area has a pool. Our apartment is in bird’s eye view of this pool.

This is the bocce ball area. I can’t wait to play!

Texan Squirrel

So many beautiful things to admire about Texas. I am loving my new home state. The weather continues to be cool and cloudy but it is perfect for comfort! Our new place is so peaceful and quiet. Everything is new and fresh. Outside, the birds sing each morning and you can hear a pin drop anytime of the day or night. Even the squirrels are happy to live here!
