I just finished up some vintage post cards. I created these to make the mail a little more interesting!
Who doesn’t love a handwritten note in the mail? I’d like to share this one with you!

Sometimes it’s worth taking a chance on freeware as some of them do actually prove to be better than even the big boy apps. Here’s a few of my favorite open source / free apps:
Avast! offers a home edition free anti virus solution that provides real time protection, basic anti-spyware protection and doesn’t take to much memory while running in the background. I use it and like it waaaay more than Norton or McAfee. It’s lightweight and won’t bog down your system for starters. You can download your own copy of the free version here.
CCleaner is a registry cleaner, disk cleaner and software uninstaller. It cleans up the gunk that you THOUGHT you’d deleted when you emptied your recycle bin! Wroooong. This is lightweight and as free as a bird. You can download your free copy here. [Read more...]
So what happens at 3:45 am when I can’t sleep because the ocean’s waves are crashing loudly or I get the urge to make coffee at insane hours of the morning?! I do some blog reading or, like this morning, dig out old, vintage magazines and flip through them to kick start my creative mojo!
As it so happens, I came across this old insert which lacked vibrancy and “oomph!” Nothing a little color couldn’t fix!
