Happy Independence Day

I never grow tired of taking photos of the American flag. I am always taking shots on post at Fort Campbell when I take Sophia for walks. This photograph of the flag was taken at The Old Place in Clarksville, TN where we often go to shop for rare finds and treasures. I wonder if my daughter will look at our flag and think of freedom by the time she grows up. I hope so. It’s what her daddy and many others have and continue to fight for.

I wish everyone a memorable Independence Day and have a great amount of gratitude for those brave souls who have and continue to provide us with the freedom we are fortunate to have.
