Well, gee. It’s Monday morning and it’s just Sophia and I. Her daddy is in Afghanistan for awhile. I think this might be the toughest deployment yet. When we were in a Special Operations unit of the military, we had a tremendous amount of support.
Now that we’re out of the military, it’s a whole new experience. I’m missing my girlfriends from the unit!
On a positive note, my daughter is getting registered today for Montessori School here in Austin. It should help fill her mornings with an awesome learning experience and new friendships. Wow, it seems like I just gave birth to Sophia. Now she’s 1-1/2 years old and on her way to school!
