Sophia Faith was born at 12:05 pm today weighing 7 lbs 12 oz. She is doing very well. I am groggy and tired from being in labor and delivery from 5:00 pm yesterday until noon today when the doctors performed the emergency c-section. Sophia is so amazing. Words cannot describe how I feel. It’s just such a miracle.

Today was my baby shower and what a “pretty in pink” party it was! My very dear friend Natalie hosted it at her place and it couldn’t have been done any better! More photos to come. Here’s just a few from the ones that I shot…

This month, I’m busy getting ready for the baby’s arrival on February 8th… or sometime around then! Sophia Faith is busy kicking up a storm in my belly! I’m sure she’s as anxious as everyone “on the outside” to make her debut! I packed her diaper bag (pink and brown!), ordered the Eddie Bauer travel system (stroller and car seat) and packed part of my bag also. Tick tock, let’s get this show on the road shall we?!

I had my 2nd ultra sound today. Once again, the baby just didn’t want to show us if she was a “she” or he was a “he!” Oh my gosh! How are we all supposed to shop?! ;-)

My mom-n-law is so sure it has to be a girl and my mother also thinks it’s a girl. I kind of feel like it’s a boy!

Time will tell when it is meant to happen. In the meantime, we’ll continue chomping at the bit to know! Staaaay tuned!

Wow, is the baby doing some dancing these days! It was like he or she was having a little party in my belly this past weekend! I’m at the best part of my pregnancy now. The first trimester was exhausting and rather yucky. I felt sick a lot.

I am 23 weeks prego now. I have my ultrasound on Wednesday and should be finding out if we are having a boy or girl. My mother thinks it’s going to be a girl. I think it will be a boy. We’ll see very soon! In the meantime, we’re all anxious to know and in suspense!
