Tequila Christmas Cake Recipe (Funny!)

Oh geez. I know I’ll hear my neighbor laughing over this one all the way from her house across the street!

Ingredients:

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
Nuts
1 bottle tequila
2 cups of dried fruit

Sample the tequila to check quality. Take a large bowl. Check the tequila again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it’s best to make sure the tequila is still okay. Try another cup… just in case.

Turn off the mixer thingy. Break 2 eggs and add to the bowl. Chuck in the cup of dried fruit.

Pick the fruit up off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the lequita to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Check the tequila. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don’t forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the tequila and wipe counter with the cat.

Christmas Cards Done

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just a month and a half away… give or take a few days. It creeps up on us so fast. So I went ahead and finished my Christmas cards. This is the insert to each card where we hand write a letter on the back to each person. With the baby coming in February, we have much to write about!

Cool Yules & Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope Santa was good to you all! I got the biggest gift that even Santa couldn’t fulfill this year! God jumped right in and took over when he delivered Travis to me this holiday! Thank GOD for this day!

It’s warm and sunny today. We walked Hope and took it easy all day. Travis gave me some pretty nice gifts that I am grinning over! I wish our parents could be here!

We’re driving to Malibu tomorrow to spend a few days by the beach. It’ll be so nice to be back there again. We’ve been given a friend’s 10,000 sq ft home on Pacific Coast Highway all to ourselves. Wooie! It’ll be nice to get some R&R after all my classes.

May you be loved and adored this Christmas day. I know that I’m swimming in all the attention and happiness!

God bless.
