American Holidays

Here’s a quick reference to the most common holidays celebrated here in the United States. Bookmark it and come back often!

New Year’s Day is January 1st. The celebration of this federal holiday begins the night before, when Americans gather to wish each other a happy and prosperous coming year.

Valentine’s Day is February 14th. The day was named after an early Christian martyr, and on Valentine’s Day, Americans give presents like candy or flowers to the ones they love.

Christmas on the Beach Photographic Art

I live at the beach so of course I had to create a Christmas piece of photographic art! It’s a beautiful greeting card; very different than any other your friends and family will receive!

It’s available in my store or at Office Divvy in Palm Coast along with my other photographic art cards and prints. I’ll also be there in person on December 8th and 9th so drop by if you’re in the area!

Office Divvy is located at 389 Palm Coast Pkwy, Suite 4 in Westpointe Plaza.

February 2009 – The Love Month

I love the month of February aside from the cold weather. It’s the love month for three reasons this month.

  1. My 1st anniversary is tomorrow. Where did the time go?! A year already?!
  2. I am due to give birth to our little girl on the 4th. I’m so ready!!!
  3. Valentine’s Day is coming up! I luuuuv this day!

Also, my baby shower is this afternoon which I am really excited about! I have so much to be thankful for!

So enjoy this month and whatever it brings you. Don’t forget the V’s Day cards and little love notes!

Happy New Year!

Here’s to a wonderful new year. I don’t believe in making resolutions, just plans as usual.

2008 was a year of major change from being in college and doing my degree in Los Angeles to getting married and moving to Kentucky, then getting pregnant on the first attempt! Who says 36 year old women have stale eggs?!

2009 is going to be even bigger with Miss Sophia Faith arriving next month and hopefully a new home to move to. The dust doesn’t settle under our feet, that’s a definite!

I hope that this year affords me new friendships with other new moms and that (here comes the vein part…) my body bounces back and I am able to get myself back in shape! I miss my cute little size 4 dresses and skinny legged boots!!!

Happy, happy ’09!
