Every Little Girl Is A Princess

I looooove my little mini me more than life itself. She tests me sometimes and caught onto my “sass,” but at the end of the day, she’s a part of me and I love her, love her, love her!

Sophia is two years and ten months now. Wow, where did the time go? Now I see why everyone says; “Cherish every moment.”

Day Twenty-Nine: 31 Days of Props

Sophia on the beach

I could NOT resist using this shot for today’s 31 Days of Props! We took this pail full of little things from around our house to shoot for this month’s 31 Days of Props challenge. My adorable little mini-me asked if she could be in a picture with the props! She grabbed the handmade octopus made from raffia and sea shells, sat on the pail and laughed! What a ham!

I hope you’ve enjoyed the photographs this month for this challenge. I’ve really enjoyed sharing my style of photographic design with you and hope you’ll stay in touch and check in for next month’s challenge. With just two more days to go, I’ll be looking for interesting things to use as props to finish off the challenge!

See you tomorrow.

My Little Piece of “Precious”

My Sweet Child, Sophia

I thought I’d share a photo of my sweet, sweet little girl, Sophia. I took this photograph in August at our beach in Sea Colony, Palm Coast. She was two and a half years of age. I love her like crazy!

Seven Million Wonders by a Child

In a Child's Eyes

Isn’t this quote so true? Everything is a wonder in the eyes of a child. I love watching my little mini me as she gazes at something that she has not seen before. The beach is a wonderful place for that. We absolutely love living at the coast. It’s always such a calm and inviting place to walk, run, play, rest, sing, dance… [Read more...]

Maria Montessori Quote on Early Learning

“The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one,

the period from birth to age six.  For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself,

his greatest implement, is being formed.”

- Dr. Maria Montessori

My amazing little girl, Sophia (2-1/2 years old) who loves learning new things.

She began at North Austin Montessori School in Austin, Texas at 18 months of age.

Never Stop Chasing Your Dream

I have done many renditions of this photograph of my daughter, Sophia. I think this is my favorite.

I hope she always chases her dreams.

Children… Happily Ever After

My precious little girl, Sophia (21 months) and her adorable 2nd cousin, Connor in old town St. Augustine last month not even an hour after meeting for the first time! They were amazing together. I can’t wait for the next 2 weeks to pass until we move to the area. I’m sure we’ll be doing many play dates and sleepovers! Connor’s mom and dad are the sweetest, too so there’s much to look forward to!

Precious memory…
