At 13 months of age, my daughter has a knack for art! Give a girl some paint and paper and watch Picasso smile down from the heavens! How sweet is this?! ;-) It’s so gorgeous, I think I will have it printed on canvas! Ohhh, my little Sophia! (I’m not too proud!).

First year of being a mom

Today my precious little girl turned one. I fell in love with my special little package of perfection all over again. It’s been a very special day that I feel so fortunate to share with our good friends and my father. How fast they do grow. I cherish every moment. It’s a blast to have each day to see her grow into her own little self. She has so much sweetness inside of her and a very big pocketful of personality! (We know where she got that!).

Today we woke up to 6 inches of bright, white, fabulous snow! It was so bright that it was shocking to the eye.
The funniest thing about this area is how the sidewalks roll up at the very word of snow or cold. Wow. Even the mall at Fort Campbell and grocery store was closed! I guess when you grow up in a true wintery environment, a few inches of snow is just another day.
My daughter enjoyed her first snowfall! She was all bundled up and warm. What wasn’t to like right?! So cute!
