For all the Homeless Dogs Out There

Available thru Etsy and Kokabella.com

This is fast becoming one of my best sellers. I originally created this photographic art version for a dog rescue campaign had it offered in silent auctions to raise funds for dog rescue organizations. It speaks volumes. I admire anyone who rescues an animal and gives it a loving home. Every dog deserves a warm bed and meal.

Girls and Their Horses

I thought I’d share one of my favorite photographs of Sophia and I. Our horses have brought so much joy to our lives. We take jumping lessons together and enjoy being at the barn with our friends. I rescued, rehabbed and rehomed this Thoroughbred that my daughter is with here. My pretty little Sophia now has a dark bay Morgan named “Little Miss Gracie” and this is my very big and beautiful heart horse, Handsome Hal. Love, love, love.

Now that Sophia is jumping, she likes to tell me all the things that I need to improve upon… and she’s only eight years old! You have to love the enthusiasm!

Update: Sadly, we lost Handsome Hal suddenly while he was boarded in North St. Augustine, Florida. His body was taken away without authorization with refusal to tell us where he was buried or disposed of. It was heartbreaking and unethical. We hold memories of our beautiful horse deep in our hearts.

I love horses. I have three of them. This abstract art print was my first equine design of the line I created. It was definitely created from the heart. Below is a photo of my 17.2 hand Hanoverian/Oldenburg gelding and my daughter with our first Thoroughbred.

My Fort Worth Stock Yards Adventure

Hello Cowboy Central! I’ve arrived at the Fort Worth Stock Yards; a horselover’s old world playground! From women competing in barrel racing to shops and cool bars to have lunch and a drink… this is IT! See the bull crossing signs?! Not kidding! Oh, and don’t let me forget to mention there’s a big ass bull right on the main street where one can sit on it like a wanna-be cowgirl and get your picture taken! Why didn’t I do that?! Uh. I’ll need a few girlfriends with me and some liquid courage to sit on that thing!

So far my trip is proving to be interesting and full of new life experiences. The people here are exceptional! They couldn’t be more willing to help with directions and recommendations on where to go and what to see!

I can’t wait to relocate to the Dallas area!
